Apr. 18-21 Severe Possibilities

Did not see anything of note.  Cell weakened.  Saw a better wall cloud with a storm to my north earlier this year.  Agree with Stebo about the storm to the sw of Indpls needing to be watched.  What did impress me was the amount of sunshine and partly cloudy skies between these cells.

Might get something decent there but as it moves east this side of the state has been completely worked over.

Not really.

The projectories have pretty good effective MLCAPE values (situated over the I-69 corridor) moving NE, so the better instability is yet to come.

But even then, the MLCAPE values still aren't enough for anything overwhelming.

7 W Findlay [Hancock Co, OH] TRAINED SPOTTER reports HAIL of quarter size (M1.00 INCH) at 5:35 PM EDT -- TRAINED SPOTTER REPORTED QUARTER SIZED HAIL ALONG US 224 ABOUT 7 MILES WEST OF FINDLAY.

That was me lol. Followed the cell to Arcadia and it basically had dissolved into a gusty shower by then. Still I wish I had left a little earlier as I was heading on 224 and would have easily gotten into that 1.5" hail if I were 10-15 minutes earlier
