Going to need better moisture in the Ohio Valley (which should happen later). Dewpoints only around 50 in Louisville.

Ok that is really weird with the 50 degree dew point because Northern Kentucky/Cincy is saying 56, someone is off

Is that an accurate Td?  I have read that NCEP maps were having problems with accurate moisture parameters.

That is the actual observation out of Louisville.

Didn't hear about what you said, but if anything, that would probably affect model output.  Something to keep in mind, I guess.

At 3pm at SDF in Louisville the temperature is 83 and the dewpoint is 48. Bowman Field about 5 miles from SDF is 81/50.

Had a cloud to ground strike that was less than 1/4SM from the tower here about 15 minutes ago, that was the brightest/loudest strike I have ever experienced. My heart is still kind of racing after that. I can guarantee it scared the living daylights out of anyone in this terminal, it was that loud.

I had a similar experience while in Texas.  It hit on the other side of a grove of trees behind patio and it seriously felt like it came into the house my first reaction was to hit the floor as quick as I could when the flash happened.  Very scary when it does that, of course it did it again and I thought the world was ending, lol.

Actually 2 of them one west and one north of Enon.

I saw that storm on the radar at the time it was a decent looking supercell but the rotation didn't look to impressive but it was likely decently low-level meso
