Extreme effective SRH available to these supercells in NE LA right now.

Might explain how this went from practically nothing to rotating strong in less than 3 minutes, if the time stamps are accurate.

Between radar sites, but pretty strong rotation between Gilbert and Winnsboro LA.

That one has pretty strong rotation based out of the Monroe, LA ULM dual-pol radar as yet...though no evident TDS based on what I can gather. However... it is good to know while not publicly available it is greatly helping in the warning process for an area that has sorely lacked good low-level coverage for many years.

Thanks, I just realized it was posted above by you. Yeah, it's pretty evident how useful more radar sites would be, especially in areas that see significant severe weather frequently.

Appears Jena missed the worst?  Hoping that is the case.

Wondering the same thing - my Mom has a cousin in Good Pine, and she said the tornado missed her by about a mile.  Midway, which posters indicated was hit directly, is a mile east of where she is, and just west of Jena.  It was either a hit, or very very close.

Appears to be mainly tree damage/ moderate structural damage from what I've found. Are we beginning to see cells out front merging more? I know window for discrete in most discussions was late aftn.

And what have you found besides the LSRs?
