Moisture return further north was not what it needed to be, so instability is pretty meager, and low-level wind fields are not overly impressive. Better luck tomorrow perhaps. Still some chance for a couple tornadoes perhaps, but not looking overly bright.

I'm not complaining being one of the northern areas is SW MO, lol.

A lot of AL/MS area mets including Spann are really pushing tomorrow if the gulf coast morning junk doesn't screw up moisture return.

We've been dry. Really dry here in the midwest. Our soil moisture levels haven't been helping much. I'll take the much needed rain though

Certainly, always get a bad feeling whenever they have a chance to be under-the-gun, for obvious reasons. lol. Best chance for anything would appear to be with that cluster northwest of LZK as it moves into SC MO.

Been watching that storm for quite some time. Things are about to get cranking in Northern Arkansas and Missouri again.

Very strong couplet and debris signature just northeast of Oakland now from a seperate storm further to the north. Almost certainly a strong tornado there.

Are we just not gonna talk about the pink debris ball on base reflectivity passing north of Jennings, LA?

It's not a debris ball.  CC does not correlate with velocities and the CC drop is only in an area of low reflectivity, not high reflectivity. Since it's in an area of low reflectivity, it is ambiguous. I don't even think there has been a tornado on that storm in the last 20 mins.
