One trying to get going south of it could be trouble for DFW later on

It's current trajectory should keep it from penetrating into the core four (Collin, Dallas, Denton, & Tarrant) counties. It may clip the northwestern corner of Denton, but it's sparsely populated once you get north and west of the city of Denton.

Storms firing further south now in Dublin and Comanche

Those two will be watched very carefully by FWD. The ceiling is quite high for a bad event there.

Walking around today the air definitely had "the feel" to it. People in the comp lab where I'm working on an essay were rolling their eyes at the watch when it came out. Nervous

Worried about these models didn't have anything in that area this morning in the better moisture will affect highly populated areas

Exactly.  In fact SPC in current meso discussion is thinking more of a squall line in southern OK and increasing tor potential from DFW north to the Red River.

Severe warned cell near Paul's Valley looks to be getting some low level rotation now, chasers on FB reporting it getting better organized.fb592d7201397a1e6e8013ac3534b2b3.png

Looking better on radar now too... McGowan posted a pic of some nice scud on twitter, base looks a lot lower than it did 20 minutes ago.
