Somewhere, prob CC and Islands, is going to see hurricane force gusts out of this I think. Wind has picked up since I posted 5 min ago, I'd estimate 40mph. Based on HRRR highest gusts should be from 1-7pm or so. Some 55mph gusts inland won't be uncommon.

Between 12 and 13 inches here..drifting like a mofo!!  Blizzard warning was a good call imo here. Hanging tough here..still all snow and heavy 

 

if we can can pick up another 3-4 inches over the course of the afternoon..we'll be right where the forecast/Euro progged us.  We'll see??

Wind has got to be the most impressive aspect thus far. Not used to it this far inland. Can now understand the unusual Blizzard Warning for MBY.

Jan 11 I was in East Hampton, got two feet. Then an ice storm where my car got stuck in the parking lot for three days until it was towed out. That was a good run.
