stormtracker
well, OPM opens 3 hours late. That tells you how this whole thing has gone so far. Going back to sleep to try to get another 2 hours in before work.
Fozz
I woke up, saw that many warnings were downgraded to advisories, and realized that can't be a good sign. Oh well.
MDScot
Woke up around 2 to sleet lashing the windows, thought " that's not going to get it done" and then couldn't sleep after that - but still have to go to work now. Heavy sleet still here in Gaithersburg.
AdamHLG
Well on the bright side, my Weather Channel App (which I use solely for mobile severe alerts) has a real time rain indicator and it says snow will start in 8 minutes. So I guess the flip back is 8 minutes away. 7 minutes now. Lol.Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk

AdamHLG
If Chestnut Ridge flipped to sleet the region didnt have a chance. Sometimes the house wins. At least we got a final event to track and we can close the book on it now. Well, in 8 hours. Holding out for a wrap around final goodbye to the season we once called winter.Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk

They still seem positive over there. It the Philly forum that melted down. But A lot of them are still using the words "The HRRR says....". I hate to break it to them, but the HRRR has said a lot of things that aren't true.

AdamHLG
I named the above storm based on my backyard because this is an epic sleet storm for mid March. Does anybody remember seven or eight years ago in Northern Baltimore County there was another really great sleet storm that produced similar amounts of sleet but no snow? If you recall and know the date can you post it?Sent from my VS995 using Tapatalk
