Looking at the 1z hrrr seems like the model is showing colder air in the mid levels getting drawn down into the deepening low pressure so the sleet line meets a little more resistance in MD. That battleground is going to be pretty wild to watch. A couple more nudges and a million extra snow weenies get some solid totals.

So that is basically our offensive line....lets see if it can protect our snow quarterback!!

If those yellows approaching Alexandria are sleet we're all screwed inside the beltway shortly.

Sleet line on CC is lagging just behind the forward push of the brighter returns on radar. We'll see if it gets knocked back a bit.

Sidewalk and street lastly is covered. Yuuge flakes now in Indy Hill Va. About 3/4 on the deck/car. Turning white rapidly. Given my Southern Metro location I will be the first one to flip to sleet. Sleet is about 20 miles from my house right now. 32.0.

Latest RAP gives me 3"+ of liquid. Too bad I'll be sleet soon

How much sleet did you get in Feb 07? I'm wracking my brain but can't remember my yard. 3-4" seems to stand out but I'm not sure. This could top that unless I flip to rain.
