Kind of expected to see it up our way. At least during the lighter rates when they can't overcome the warm layer that will probably be there.

Doesn't surprise me either however I don't think we'll flip over completely but mixing is possible between 3 and 7 a.m.

I can't explain it but it feels like this will be a mostly snow event for us here near BWI.  Temps are dropping -- 35 degrees and dew point is 23.  I'm sitting outside and it just smells and feels like a snow event.  I think we'll be pleasantly surprised.

Oh gee, lookie here.  Just started to snow in earnest (sort of) and we're already seeing signs of mixing with the next batch to the south (thanks to the lower CC values).

Meanwhile, wetbulb temps are generally above freezing for us along/east of 95 (33-34F).  So let's see here, we've got temperature concerns aloft, and not the greatest (lowest) temperatures at the surface for that matter.  Lovely.  Very Snowquester-ish for many of us..

Already sleet mixing in with the flakes 18 miles south of you. I can hear it soon as I go outside.

I hear it too.. its not sleet just small fine flakes hissing when they hit the surface.

You don't think the loss of daylight could change that?
