Historically we shouldn't mix with a low taking this track at that intensity. Usually for us to mix when there is cold in place ahead, the low has to be weak (above 995) or track inside Norfolk. A track over va beach then tucked in right along the coast is perfect for us. That's evident by how qpf drops off fast west of us. This will test historical climo vs models.

I was attempting to share a screenshot of wxscope contours showing how cold D.C. is currently compared to the northwest suburbs.  We never see that!
