wolfie09
Pretty much White rain all night, light snow cover on the grass, coming down the heaviest it has all night..
rochesterdave
Unbelievable. The snow turned back to rain. Haha. I didn't see that coming. 2F colder and this would've been great. Keeps ya humble.
lakeeffectkid383
What a disappointment. Same thing as Wolfe. About 1" of white rain on the grass/non paved surfaces. Paved surfaces have a "dusting" of slush on them. Snowing pretty good but I think the snow is too wet to even accumulate efficiently I guess? Sucks. lakeeffectkid383
At my job in East Aurora today and there's a good 4" here and we're only at about 1100' elevation. Shows you don't need much in elevation to make a difference. About 1 1/2" at 600' to 4" at 1100'. I bet at 1500-1800' elevation there's a good 6"+

Polarbear
Solid 3-4" here still this afternoon. Left here at 330 this morning so not sure what the depth peaked at. Definitely a slop fest out there now though.

At the current rate of arctic ice melt I would expect a radically different climate by 2050 for our region.
CNY-LES FREAK
It's not gonna snow in the Cuse anymore this season. It's a done deal, KBGM won and I'm happy for them so congrats are in order. Congrats BGM Blizzard and whoever else resides down there. Now if only KALB or KROC can take it the next, that would be awesome but unlikely!Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Buffalo Bumble
WTF....upper 40's and pounding rain to quick spike in temps and cloud to ground lightning hitting constantly, all in about 5 minutes. Weird. Rare to get this kind of thunderstorm even in the middle of summer around here.
BuffaloWeather
One of the best T-Storm days in quite awhile in WNY today. Caught this nice shelf cloud over the city.

southbuffalowx
Quite the shift in the last couple days for next weekend. The forecast discussion was advertising the possibly of 90s in the Genesee valley just a few days ago, and now the latest canadian model shows -6 850s across wny during next weekend, and the others don't look much better. There's still time for that to change, but I was rooting for the summer-like weather
