As stated days ago, this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone in western to northern New England.

The 10-18" initial forecasts for BGM/ALB/BTV CWAs is still mind-boggling.

Albany and BOX going pretty bold with their maps 3 days out.   14" for Albany.  12" for all of Franklin Co in MA. 

I didn't expect any map until tomorrow morning.

I'll set accumulation goal posts for this area after 12z GFS and Euro tomorrow.  Pretty sure anything from 4" - 16" is on the table for NW MA and S VT.   Highly skeptical we can go either side of those parameters here. Lol.

It has gotten absurd. Media and weather sites racing to be first to the party. Relax, you can come later and still have the same amount of fun but one thing you wont have to worry about...is getting drunk too early and vomitting on the dancefloor before anyone is drunk enough to join you.

FWIW, the NAVGEM @ 12z came well west from 6z.  It is back to where it was @ 12z Friday, and where the GFS @ 18z now has it, just E of ACK.

Although it's easy to be paranoid of the shift E, my gut feeling has been a little tuckie for a few days now.  Chatham track is what I'm riding until models scream otherwise.

I said yesterday that I would ride a track midway between the GFS and the Euro.  At that time that put it over or just E of ACK.  I'm sticking with that.

Hopefully the 0z models come in better with phasing.  I've been kind of worried about the main shortwave and whether or not it may actually close off too early and sort of dampen things down a bit.

Looks like the 18z JMA is a canal track and the 12z frenchy was a BM track.

Sadly I'm still being the dad taxi and have not yet started.   Plus DST

This waiting for the 0z is going to suck.  Even if the Euro holds serve I consider that a loss out here

I actually forgot about the French model.   Is that at Meteocentre?
