I was thinking of getting the Christmas lights up...at least into the garage for easier staging from the basement this week. I like to get the stuff outside before Thanksgiving while it's still fairly warm. I plan to cut grass one more time. I keep watching the long range GFS runs bring pieces of cold air down. I know it's really out there but it's showing a nice plunge of very cold air behind an exiting Great Lakes low the weekend before Thanksgiving. Cold air is just a waste without snow to me. A good snow, not a half inch of LES. A high of 32 tomorrow and nothing to go with it. I'd rather be able to wear shorts. But we kinda got screwed out having one of the coldest days this early in the season, with that midnight high of 41. Could've ended up with a mean of 24F or 25F. The Penn State mets on Weather World were talking about a blocking pattern setting up the week of Thanksgiving and the GFS the last couple of runs has been showing a cold shot centered around Thanksgiving day with a precip event.
