The mean temp of 66 yesterday, is the normal mean temperature for June 5th. Very impressive warmth.

Of course it's too early to say, but this could be the first time since 1954 that February would have a higher mean temp than March.  Especially if the colder March forecast verifies.

It was close, but we did it.

Yaay.

What do you think if ground cools fast because of nighttime ,any chance of more ?

No actually looking like less. I would bet grassy areas might whiten up but will probably melt quickly in am. Any snow that falls tomorrow will likely melt on impact. Although you never no. Some years we are surprised.:D

Anyone have a radar loop on this storm. I wasn't watching the radar, but had no clue anything that severe was around. That's incredible. I'd love to see photos and the radar loop

Being that we'll probably be warm right through the end of October, seeing snow in May would be interesting.

I started my garden plants from seed indoors this year, maybe a bit to early so given the April warmth predicted this week I planted them in the garden last weekend. My point is, I never plant outdoors this early so a devastating cold snap is all but assured.

Gotta to say that this is one nasty sounding for the Pittsburgh Metro area on Thursday. Seems like an significant severe risk along an triple point is possible at this time

Severe threat looks less likely now per NWS discussion with main threat being hail and wind. Gotta keep an eye out for early next week though.
