NAM looks like it takes same path as GFS but the precip field is really small. If we can hold the path the precip shield should hopefully move west.

In about 40 min we will know whether or not the gfs is on to something.

IF this solution were to play out, there's a silver lining. Wait a day or two for the smaller amounts to melt in Allegheny and western Westmoreland county, then take a day trip to Latrobe, Uniontown...or wherever the snow-covered Chestnut ridge is visible. It's truly a sight to behold. I've seen this happen ONCE in my life, and I lived in Derry at the time. It was back in the early 2000's. We got nothing, and the ridge and east of it got something like 10 inches. An amazing sight from the lower elevations.

Low is over New Jersey compared to over long island in the 18z

Should be some amazing GEFS members I'd venture to guess. I want to see the Euro come further west and then it's game on. It's not over boys!!!

I have Euro maps, but I am not sure if I will be up for it. Depends on if I can make it that late.

No problem. If you don't make it you can post them tomorrow morning. Something to look forward to before we get deflated or elated again at lunchtime. (Damn I hate this hobby sometimes)
