...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 8 PM MONDAY TO 11 PM
EDT TUESDAY...

The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow...which is in effect from 8 PM Monday
to 11 PM EDT Tuesday.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...4 to 6 inches.

* TIMING...Monday evening through early Tuesday night.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions.

* WINDS...Northeast 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
driving.

Please report snowfall by calling 412-262-1988, posting to the
NWS Pittsburgh Facebook page, or using Twitter @NWSPITTSBURGH

They told me.. I guess its just an advisory not a warning criteria since it more about long duration impact.

They have multi acoounts.  This is the proof. No one backs me up when I give a opinion. Kpitt has 4 new names pop up for him.   That's how u tell

Not me. I'm the one and only "Snowsux". I've been on the Accuweather forum under this name for the past 10 years. Even Colonel717, who's balls I broke mercilessly over there last week, (sorry about that) can attest to this.

I never said it doesn't analog 93. I actually posted the other day 93 at the time was #2 analog.  I said there is nothing to show this storm will track similar to 93.  And NOAA said the same thing. They said so in their discussion.  As Burgh stated so well also.

I can attest to our Accu discussion.. :) No need to apologize

A 500mb pattern can easily analogue a big storm period and nothing happens, I've seen other patterns with march 93 as an analogue and little to anything happened anywhere. In the referenced discussion its also the 4th best match, which means its not identical and even if it were it would be crazy to expect the same result. I don't want to argue over it, and there are some similarities for sure, but also some key differences which will make the outcome much different for us.
