Why is there no good UKMET access? Do you think the ECMWF people think of UKMET as we do the Canadian?

Isn't it because the UKMET profits off their model too? Or was it just their hi-res model that WeatherBell had?

If you are up at 1am, what's 30 more minutes gonna matter? :P

Sometimes I stay up but not after time change and I haven't this yr and I'm already rather tired... so..

Plus it's never just see the model it's see the model then talk about it till 2a. Plus sometimes it kills a snowstorm then you're supposed to go to bed.

We have had outright SPRING conditions for DAYS, yet 30 degrees with strong winds have already frozen standing water on parking lots solid.

Is this Mar 10 or JAN 10?

It's actually May 10. Update your calendars.

Yeah... not what I thought I was staying up for...

This feels like its about to be death by west trend...

Certainly enough to give me pause. It's not an utter disaster I think...but it's close to one. I guess we'll have to see what tomorrow brings.

There is no overreacting...it's a bad run from the best model 12hrs closer to start time.  I'd call it the first nail in the wooden box.

Agreed.  Have seen mets talk about this "Miller B type" being tough to forecast. High bust potential. March 2001 is the elephant in the room for sure.
