Under low indoor light levels over the winter, they'll grow larger and weaker leaves than normal, which are serviced by a significantly constricted root system. If you put them outside on days like this, they'll be unable to uptake water fast enough, and then the leaves will droop and the stem will kink. Once they kink, there is nothing you can do but cut them off, which is a bummer if it happens to all of them. Probably more than you wanted to know. CoastalWx
I got my davis up, but I need a fan, and anemometer needs to be on roof so will need wireless transmitter. Still, my reading seems similar to other areas.

I usually end up about the same as LCI for a high, but I seem to get there about 2 hours sooner. We'll see if that's the case today.

CoastalWx
Last time I remember a day like this, The Brockton MA (well SE MA) macroburst occurred. First time I remember my mom actually scared in a thunderstorm. She was at Caldors (when it existed) and they told everyone to get to the back of the store. ORH_wxman
There was a pretty hot day in May '94 where we got big hail in ORH...wasn't quite as hot as today but well into the 80s and humid. I think it may have been 5/22 or 5/23/94. I was walking home from school and the sky just opened up with hail right as I got home. Sky was really dark and good thunder.
