Temp started at 59 with a few peaks of sun that quickly faded and by the time we left it was 49 with light rain and breezy. Only 10 minute wait for Superman and 5 minutes for the wicked Cyclone thanks to the weather. Having season passes for all the kids is really nice when you're only 12 minutes away. The summits in the Greens are now down to 32F so snow levels higher over here at probably 3,000ft+ up here while in the Adirondacks it seems to be around the 1500ft level. Forecast calls for a coating to 1" above 1,500ft later tonight into the morning with CAA and upslope flow. Looking at radar there's likely going to be some light accums in the Adirondacks tonight. Maybe some flakes at Mitch's plot in SVT over 2,000ft too. 41F here now, cold light rain showers. Has an October-like vibe outside this evening with the dog. The numbers look like highs of 48 or 49, with nightly frosts the whole week. Expand Surprised it's been melting so much, high was only 56F in NYC yesterday, and flakes were flying across the high terrain last night. During the last outbreak (early 1980s), my dad counted nearly 40 on his medium-size feeder at one time, shoulder to shoulder, in Woodsville, NH.
