Stormpc
Storm missed me. Praying for remnant showers on the back end of the line. Congrats everyone else.
showmethesnow
Very pedestrian storm up my way. No wind to speak of, minimal lightning, and if we were lucky we may have seen an inch of rain. One thing though is we did see a handful of CG strikes close to home which had our dogs jumping. Looks like those to my south are doing much better. Hope you all get a good show. mattskiva
Brief heavy rain, thunder but not very close, some wind. Not terribly exciting.
BlizzardNole
A few rumbles of thunder and little to no wind, but I could not be happier with the rain! Good and heavy for 10-15 minutes. I get a rare break from watering the garden beds tonight.
high risk
you can see new storms firing along the outflow boundary just north of the DC Beltway

Not complaining here either. Needed the rain for the garden and the lawn. Sadly this has been the most exciting event I have had since the Feb storm which says a lot about how bad severe has been up my way.
ErinInTheSky
Beautiful thunderstorm in Gaithersburg, soaking up every minute of it.
MN Transplant
I'm in a decent spot for back-end rain, but that cell moving along 66 was whipping so quickly that I only got about 0.25" from it.
ErinInTheSky
So much lightning around me right now. This has been a fantastic storm, favorite of the season. Reminds me of the thunderstorms in Louisiana. Not a ton of crazy wind or a TOR warning, but the downpour and massive lightning is awesome.
osfan24
Storms falling apart around Baltimore. Some breezy conditions and a brief downpour. Maybe some of the DC cells get up here but this looks like it's even worse than your garden variety summer t-storm day.
09-10 analogy
Had some pretty strong gusts into the upper 40s maybe, but not much rain and pretty bleh T&L.

GramaxRefugee
Quite windy, rain heavy. very little T&L....just arriving here in Bowie area about 1600L. Gusts to blow green leaves, twigs, but no tree damage.

Some rain, a few rumbles of thunder, but overall, really really meh downtown. Again.
osfan24
This was a classic fail. A little wind, a couple rumbles of thunder and some rain. This severe season is about as good as the winter snow season so far. Might need to hope for a hail mary on tropical action.

dailylurker
Glad I got that new sprinkler for the garden. I'm definitely going to be using it a lot. My day of good rain yielded a 10 minute underwhelming thunder shower and a gust of wind. Maybe next weekend we get a shower.
mappy
More T&L on the backside of the heavy rain than the line itself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
adelphi_sky
I agree. It was a pretty meh event. Was hoping for at least some heavy rain. Didn't even get that. I was in Virginia Beach this past weekend and had more excitement from the monsoon-like rains than this.
ErinInTheSky
Sorry everyone else had such a meh event. I admit it probably wasn't as crazy as the wind/mini tornado storm we got earlier this year but it was more prolonged, which was nice. Better than most everything else this year.
