CAPE Posted May 25, 2017 Share Posted May 25, 2017 Some decent thunder and gusty winds here, but pretty much a whiff in the rain dept, just some moderate showers. Deluge a few miles to my NW. It is devastating. The Kettering storm took all of the windows one one side of our house. My dad was sick! But, the upshot is they got an insurance-covered new roof less than a year before selling. The 1992 storm in FL scared the life out of me -- caused $1500 damage to my car. No windows lost, but some cars looked like they took shotgun blasts to windows. Just crazy.
