Heavy rain cells not penetrating this cooler air up here. Looks like southeast of me in better shape for sheets of rain... like Cockeysville,  towson , reisterstown on east.

Yup, it's absolutely pouring here, along with small hail.

Some decent thunder and gusty winds here, but pretty much a whiff in the rain dept, just some moderate showers. Deluge a few miles to my NW.

No complaints tho- I had nearly an inch this morning, and 3.2" for the week. Monthly total so far is 6.9".

I wish we could get one of those storms warned in NW KS right now for 80mph wind gusts and baseball sized hail... now that would be fun to see over here

I have seen baseball sized hail twice -- Kettering, MD in 1978 and near Orlando, FL in 1992, and I never want to see it again.  It is devastating.

The Kettering storm took all of the windows one one side of our house.  My dad was sick!  But, the upshot is they got an insurance-covered new roof less than a year before selling.

The 1992 storm in FL scared the life out of me -- caused $1500 damage to my car.  No windows lost, but some cars looked like they took shotgun blasts to windows.  Just crazy.
