snjókoma
There could be a sneaky microburst in Falls Church as well. I'll find out in a couple minutes.

mattskiva
Past us here now (far SE corner of Loudoun). Strongest winds in a while but straight line winds here. We actually lost power for about a minute, that is only the third time we have lost power in the 10 years we've lived here (we are across the street from high voltage transmission lines and our power is underground.) BlizzardNole
Dagummit missed it in northeast DC. Might get wild at home in Germantown. Flying to Florida tomorrow -- glad it's not today!!
ErinInTheSky
Tornado warning is usually my decision point for "cool lets watch this storm blow through" and "hell I have to take shelter now."
vastateofmind
Skies darkened and winds picked up considerably, with about another 15 minutes of sideways rain here at Fort Belvoir, but it's dying off now with skies brightening and clearing quickly to the SW. The radar vs. real-life experience didn't quite match up.

09-10 analogy
Pretty impressive. Pea sized hail, winds probably close to 50 MPH. A little thunder. Third or fourth torrential downpour of the day.

MN Transplant
Good storm. My wife called me up from Pentagon City to say that she could see construction materials being blown onto the roads there and "mini-tornadoes" Didn't record a good gust at home, the couplet that Super noted was south of my house. Bob Chill
Pretty lame here. Garden variety wind with heavy rain, a couple close strikes, and some random pea sized hail. That's about it.
Kmlwx
That probably did not need a warning.
