Apparent ad forces App Store launch

Recently, I've randomly had an a pop up on the forums when I'm using the mobile site. The screen goes blank, I'm redirected to an outside site and then the App Store attempts to launch to download an app. Once on this screen, you can't go back and have to either close the window or the entire browser and start over again  

I understand this ad may be intentional, but if not, here is the screen that I'm seeing:

Its fairly infrequent, but has been happening at least a couple of times per day over the last few days.
