BrianW
Impressive line heading into CT. Will be interesting to see if it holds together and how far east it makes it.
radiator
The approaching line looks awesome on my iPad's Radarscope. But the real-time lightning that I'm watching seems to be tapering off as the line gets closer to CT.

radiator
OK, how did you get the lightning superimposed on the radar? Whenever I've tried to use the settings, the settings popup disappears when I move my mouse away from the settings icon. Using Chrome browser on Windows. BTW, very heavy rain right started just a few minutes ago. OK, I managed to toggle the radar display by mousing over the settings icon and using the tab button to get to the appropriate radio button, and then use the right arrow key to change the setting, but that seems like an awfully arcane way to change things that ought to respond to mouse clicks. Based on the pics and that velocity images posted I would have to think it was a tornado. That damage was pretty significant and probably was 90-100+ mph winds. I would think of that was straight line damage would be more widespread...over the confined area (if that makes sense). That velocity capture posted, however, is pretty telling IMO

CoastalWx
The environment was pretty meh too. Nothing really screamed severe as everything else in New England was meh. It also wasn't a meso. Just a low level spin up that probably took advantage of some mesoscale things.
