NJwx85
Now this makes perfect sense based on the placement of the features and where the freezing levels setup. The 18z NAM has a very significant ice storm for the far interior.

UlsterCountySnowZ
HWO Albany for my area clipper low pressure system will bring a light snowfall to the region tonight. Generally 1 to 3 inches of accumulation will fall short of advisory criteria, although the snowfall could result in slippery and snow covered roads. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. Another storm system may bring moderate to heavy wintry precipitation to the region Sunday into Sunday night. If confidence increases, Winter Storm Watches may be needed for much of the area. RGEM is usually solid inside 36---- really great inside 24--- The benefit of this model is that it's one of the only a 48hr models (2 others)... much smaller sample size hi res nams are 60 hrs nams 84 WRF-NMM/ARW are 48 also and useful for picking up meso band features, but I prefer these in the summer for several weather

MJO812
We just need a few more south shifts and we will be good. Low is further south on this run and colder but not enough here. SNE northward look good on the Nam.
