EasternLI
Kinda chilly here 35/30 Upton sounds like they're staying on their toes. Quote NYC/Long Island/most of NE NJ/S Westchester/Fairfield: 2AM-NOON Sunday - up to 1 inch of snow/sleet and up to a few hundredths of ice. Depending on exactly how fast cold air builds in behind the storm/how long precipitation lingers Sunday night - higher snow totals maybe needed especially over eastern Long Island. WeatherFeen2000
Tomorrow night may be very interesting, kind of reminds me of March 22nd 1998 event! Manhattan ended with 5 inches of snow that early Sunday morning.

I've been saying CAD is undermodeled, I think NYC metro will be the battleground for quite some time so it's tough to say exactly...I'm not sure if LI stay frozen throughout entirety , however I would not be shocked to see south shore rain or sleet, and north shore snow.. especially at onset... I think everyone ends as snow if I had to pick a model that's had the best handle on this event, I'd say the RGEM... very consistent... but I think even the RGEM is underdoing CAD, also snowpack does play a small role in all this
