PWMan
Minor gripe: Why does GYX make it so hard to find snowfall totals and other storm reports? They had a link for snowfall reports at the top of their home page yesterday, but it's already gone and I can't seem to navigate my way to it. Other offices make it much more user-friendly. Anyway, my unscientific measurement for south coastal Scarborough is ~10". Great little storm.

ncforecaster89
Nothing like a good-ole New England snow storm/blizzard! Love visiting this beautiful part of the country!! This was by far the most "electric" winter storm I've ever documented. Observed multiple instances of thundersnow in Providence, RI, and two other strikes at Plymouth Harbor. Along with the intense rates (reminiscent of the major 1/13-14/16 Lake effect chase off Ontario), blinding white-out, and intense blizzard conditions...it makes this storm well worth the severe sleep-deprivation it required. Was awake almost 40 hours straight (had to work before I rushed to get here). I took a few pics of the impressive white-out conditions I witnessed, between Providence, RI and Sagamore, MA, as I was driving. Can view them at my twitter account (https://mobile.twitter.com/tbrite89), if you like? Have made it back to Providence. RI. Will drive to Virginia throughout the remainder of the day; then, arrive home tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully, the 12z 150 hr Euro will come close to verifying, so I'll be enticed to visit yet again. Glad so many of you had an enjoyable and memorable event, as well!
