Wife said that too. She said pretty bad in Wey.

I'd echo that sentiment.  Howling winds.  Snow has just not been impressive.  If it is going to have to rip (1-2"/hr) between 12-6 here if we have any shot of double digits.  Barely an inch thus far.

a chance of snow Saturday and rain or snow Sunday.

.NEAR TERM /UNTIL 6 PM THIS EVENING/...
*** A Major Winter Storm Impacts The Entire Region Today With
Heavy Snow And Blizzard Conditions Across Southeast
 Massachusetts ***

No major changes with this update, as current trends on radar
reflect the forecast, and the most of the latest mesoscale
guidance. Minor adjustments to timing of POPs and temperatures
to reflect observed trends.

Many reports of thundersnow across CT. Expecting the possibility
of thundersnow across most of southern New England this
afternoon and evening as coastal low strengthens.

No significant changes to snowfall accumulations, yet. Still
analyzing snowfall reports and radar data. So far, plenty of
reports 2-4 inch/hour snowfall rates. Also have reports of rain,
still, across south coastal New England. Temperatures there were
still in mid 30s to lower 40s. Despite the rain there, we expect it
will transition to snow by early afternoon. Hope to have updated
snowfall totals out by noon.

Travel where these bands setup will be very hazardous due to very
poor visibility, and snow-covered surfaces.

we may be close to ripping. we need those new stronger popping echos by Newbury /Salisbury to fill in West south west

As long as the band to the NW doesn't blow through here too fast and merge too far south.  That would be my worry, it kinda of skipping over us.

I think it will take a while to pass through our area.  We should do ok for some time.  Has picked up quite a bit here over the last 10 minutes or so.

It's impossible to pin down screw zones before the event really starts.... I had hopes of seeing 18".... but it's becoming clear that probably quite optimistic.

Ill be happy to clear double digits

Promise you will.

I still say you get over a foot.....I'll get a little less than you.
