Nuking and piling up perfect with almost no wind at 20F.

Congrats ALB on finally getting a good band..they might pick up a quick 7-8"

Yeah so nice to see.  ALB ripping out 0.07" and 0.08" past two hours at cold temps...probably a quick 3".

...HEAVY SNOWBAND IMPACTING THE EARLY MORNING COMMUTE...

A band of very heavy snowfall will impact portions of southern
Vermont...the Greater Capital Region...northern
Catskills...Helderbergs and Schoharie Valley between 430 am and
630 am. Some locations included in this band are the Tri cities of
Albany...Schenectady...and Troy...as well as Altamont...and
Clifton Park. Snow rates of 1 to 3 inches per hour are possible
with this band. Many locations could pick up a quick 2 to 6
inches by 630 am. The roadways will become snow covered and
treacherous quickly. Caution is advised driving this morning.

our deform band?? looks like it's pivoting and starting to crash SE already

Yeah the speed of this system probably won't let that linger for too long anywhere...maybe a couple hours or something.  This doesn't seem like a storm where that's going to sit somewhere for like 6 hours.  But at 3"/hr all you need is a couple hours and you've got 12"+ with this system.

I could see that smoking the Berkshires and Litchfield Hills for a while though...that zone looks really good with how that band is going.
