HRRR is really the only thing I've seen that struggles to get eastern ma to an inch... others a bit better. Either way... not worth debating over 1" vs 3"

I think its worth commenting on , why not? if this was trending better for E areas, i would be the first to comment as well.

the HI-RES Nam has also been eating away at Bos to NE mass totals in successive cycles today, including 0z, notably the period between 12z and 17z where earlier the model had steady precip over the area, now that has shifted once again further NE and eroded that idea in favor of PSM/Portland more exclusively

Take a look , here is 6z nam precip totals thru 18z tommorrow

http://mp1.met.psu.edu/~fxg1/NAMSFC4_6z/ptot36.html

now 18z nam run thru 18z tommorrow

http://mp1.met.psu.edu/~fxg1/NAMSFC4_18z/ptot24.html

then just now 0Z nam thru same period

http://mp1.met.psu.edu/~fxg1/NAMSFC4_0z/ptot18.html

THose are closer to the .10 line as well.

HRR has done the same

Now maybe its garbabe, we shall see, but i would much rather have it trending the other way

Also the complete lack of posts usually speaks for itself, and is not just because we are looking at Sunday in SNE

Dusting and pretty.  I live on the coast,  but loving this sort of snow isn't a matter of beggars can't be choosers...  I like the snow falling sideways,  and I love it falling on a still night.  It's all good. I'll wake early tomorrow,  put on the skis and glide around the shore. It'll be gorgeous and it won't last long.
