BaltimoreWxGuy Posted February 9, 2017 Share Posted February 9, 2017 Well even though I downplayed this, its still a bust for me here in eastern Balt. Very light flurries, almost of a rain capacity. I thought maybe Id get an hour burst but likely not. Now that the precip is light, Im not sure these last 2 bands to my west will do much. In my experience when you have strong NW flow and the precip lightens up, its hard for the atmosphere to overcome the drier NW air even with better radar returns. This one wasn't supposed to get me much anyways so not annoyed. Bummer for sure for those who were supposed to get more. I could be wrong but it does look like things are geling closer to the coast. I would imagine some interior folks may be unhappy even up north.
