Don't have any measurements here in Greenwich at my work. But its been pretty intense since about 9. Its gotten significantly lighter out, but I feel like visibility hasn't improved all that much. It will be interesting to see what I've got at home later.

I did see that a fellow poster from Greenwich stated 11 inches a couple mins ago. Seems realistic to the naked eye.

Yeah I think up near Ridgefield has the same and it's 2 per hr according to a friend

Crazy out here. 10-14" looks likely to verify.

those euro maps showing 20" tricked me but overall this storm is great out on the island.

It certainly felt like that earlier. These I posted earlier from around 9:30. Its been a whole since I've seen rates like that.

I just went out and got an average of 8.7", sounds reasonable, idk, the wind is making it difficult.

It's so bright out now, almost like the sun is shining.

Huge area of subsidence developing now over NE NJ between the death bands, one parked over Morristown and the other close to Queens. The mesoscale models really nailed where the higher totals would be thanks to the strongest banding, with a bit of a snowhole for NE NJ and NYC.

The band over Morris is starting to expand a bit but hasn't moved much, it's just varied in intensity

Snows should prolong a bit longer for areas as we're seeing the pivot on radar, could squeeze an extra hour or so

Nice, had a couple around 25 or so but nothing crazy

it's still close to heavy snow in springfield. i think the NW winds are slanting the snow from that band over morris to the east
