At 914 AM EST, widespread heavy snow combined with north winds of 20
to 30 mph will reduce visibilities making any outdoor activities
hazardous.

Maximum hourly snowfall rates will range from 1 to just over 3
inches, causing snow to rapidly accumulate as temperatures fall
through the 20s. Isolated rumbles of thunder will accompany the
heavy snowfall rates.

Travel is extremely dangerous.

Back edge might be slowing down a little in W NJ/E PA. I think most of us from the city east are good through 1pm. As the storm bombs, moisture will be pushed west and slow down the back edge a little. But man, it's coming down.

Some of the heaviest snow that I have seen on Long Island.
