AnthonyDabbundo
I set my goal at 5.4" (that would get me to 10" for the year) Still feel good about that here.

The big story has always been the short duration intense snowfall. I am telling you the panic in this thread is laughable. 28 minutes ago, snowwors2 said: ....Spending most of my evening elsewhere reading some terrific analysis but stepped in here for a bit and WOW...some of tonight's "model downer" posters are worse than the "radar hallucinating" group...let's let it all play out folks, PLEASE!!! AnthonyDabbundo
I predicted 6-10 in school all day along with a snow day. Feeling very good about #2, slightly less good about the 6-10. All it takes is 4 hours of great snows which I feel is certainly locked in from 5am-9am
Winter Wizard
I feel much better about being in State College for this storm than home in Wilmington. There it's a forecasting nightmare and the 0z trends have been unkind. I'm expecting about 7" here and maybe 3-4" back home the way things are looking now. Morch Madness
The 4z HRRR definitely got snowier compared to the 3z for the area. Probably a good 5-10" PHL north

The Iceman
I knew better than to follow this thread tonight. really embarrassing by some posters... everything still looks good for 6-10 philly and North with heavy snows for a good 3-4 hours. you'd think this storm went from 1-2 inches and mostly rain by some of the panic posts in here... AnthonyDabbundo
4z HRRR snow maps are a bit inflated bc of sleet but I think we have a 3-6" floor anyway with a mayhem morning rush north of the city.
zenmsav6810
Like I said earlier I told all of North Coventry that there was the potential for 10-15" tonight during my shift at Rite Aid. I like the looks of the radar not to worried... definitely will be slanted towards the 10" side but looks like it could verify still.

Maybe grass (which I really don't care) but not streets/hard surfaces, about half. Barely starting to stick to the streets at PSU currently. Winter Wizard
We're getting heavy snow in State College right now...probably 1-2" per hour with an even stronger band to our west. You guys N of the PA Turnpike should be fine.
