dryslot
It may start as some paste for some near the coast but when dynamics take over this will flip pretty quick to powder

USCAPEWEATHERAF
12z NAM, GFS, UKMET, CMC models all show a massive storm, potential blizzard conditions, UKMET model with the highest gusts of 70-75 knots over Cape Cod, that is easily 80-85mph gusts. For a few hours at the onset I think you will before dynamics take over. Islands moreso than you since they're closer to the SLP.
ORH_wxman
Shortwave is definitely stronger through 12 hours...all else equal that would produce a more amped result.

USCAPEWEATHERAF
35-40 knot sustained winds on the GFS and NAM models, the NAM maybe closer to 40-50 knots. Fact is they are both above the 35mph frequent gust threshold for blizzard criteria. I believe if the EURO agrees on the amped up solutions, than the NWS will issue blizzard watches this afternoon's four pm package.
