NJwx85
Big hit incoming on the Euro. It doesn't look as robust as some of the other 12z guidance but it's solid.
UlsterCountySnowZ
Para GFS has actually schooled the OP so far, was the first of the major models (except Nam) to see the NYC jackpot
UlsterCountySnowZ
Euros slowed down a bit from previous run, In line with other guidance timing

mikeysed
What is the timing (start and end time). I have a 6:45 AM Flight thursday am out of EWR to Florida. Trying to rebook to tomorrow, but they said they can't yet because Jetblue didn't put a travel warning out yet.....
NJwx85
6"+ mark back to the Poconos. 8-12" for all of NJ except for extreme Southern NJ and barrier islands. Could have been more if the track was more SW to NE. Instead the track is more ENE. Looks like a solid 4-8" for extreme NW sections. 8-12" for most of NJ, NYC and LI. Locally higher amounts possible in banding. Gets down to the 970's SE of Cape Cod.
Morris
13 inches for the city with Kuchera by 18z Thursday on the Euro.

NJwx85
QPF is around 0.75"+LE for just about everyone. Again, the track is a bit E of NE so that prevented this from being one of the all time greats.

Those are the types of pressures you want to see to start taking about deform banding. if that pans out we could see another monster if anyone gets stuck under the deform somone in this forums dancing their way over a foot! I'm glad I didn't throw In The towel for this winter and no one ever should anymore. Warm doesn't equal no snow in our new climate

NJwx85
Really cold on Friday behind the storm too. Would get down to the teens late Thursday night.
NJwx85
Winds look pretty significant on Thursday evening over the ocean, but winds are blowing offshore at that point, so not much concern right now for coastal flooding. I would think that perhaps Eastern Suffolk County could verify blizzard conditions late Thursday.
