Indystorm
Sprinkles of rain here and 38 degrees. Expecting less than a half inch....but have been added to southern end of advisory.
ricosuave
Long time lurker, first time poster. I am 25 miles south of Kankakee and I have 5 inches on the ground and it is still snowing hard.
Chambana
Looks like my Kankakee call will be money. Rates not good enough to fully accumulate here, having trouble. Still nice to see snow flying though. Got the fireplace going, with a pot of veggie soup.
hlcater
0.7" was my total. A bit more than forecast on the hi-res models, but a bit less than I was hoping for . Still nice to see snow as always though.
Hoosier
Eyeballing out the window here, probably just under 1". Grass tips still visible. I'd assume something similar at home.

CoachLB
Who's pumping the brakes. 30 minutes north. An inch on the ground.
Jackstraw
About 1.5 here, still see grass and roads are wet. Getting dry slotted, waiting on this next death band to hopefully get us up to 3. /\ (I know it's not much but just had to use the lingo once this pathetic winter)
Jackstraw
Interesting, P&C just upped 24 hour totals to 3-6 inches. I'll believe it when I see it.
Indystorm
Nice dusting of very fine flakes here now. Ground is white with grass tops still showing. 1-3 inches now forecast here. Somewhat surprised.

cyclone77
1.4" the total here. Most of it was from the first wave. Snowed nicely much of the day at work with the 2nd wave. Looked like winter for once.
Jackstraw
Coming down at a good clip now. Roads are covered. Probably another inch in the last 90 minutes, 2.5 total so far by the ruler. Was hoping for it to go until 9 or 10 tonight. The "storm" was supposed to slow down some but it's not looking that way ATM. I just want to hit 4 to take a little of the bitterness out of this winter

madwx
It's crazy to hear about snow to the south while it was dry and partly sunny here. Seen some videos out of Champaign that looked like it was coming down nicely. Glad to here some people to the south got to feel like it was winter, even though it may only last a day or two

Although CMI picked up 2" (our biggest snowfall of the season) it's awesome to have a winter landscape, sets the tone nicely with my fireplace going! Nice over perfromer for folks just north of me, especially around Bloomington. Seen a 5" measurement . Nice little sneaky event.
IWXwx
I busted on my prediction, wasn't expecting over an inch. At 2.9" and still coming down.

For Columbus, temperatures will be in the 40s all day and don't drop below freezing until most of the precip is out of here. I suspect we'll start off as rain and switch to a sloppy 1" of snow that should only stick to grassy and elevated surfaces. I'd rather get nothing than get teased from the west, north, and east. Whatever falls will be gone by Saturday since we'll jump back into the 60s. No rain, but the snow is so light it's barely noticeable. You have to look into the street lights to see the flakes. Jackstraw
My redneck measuring stick says 3.5 with a proven +/- 20% error rate. Never broke out my boards this winter lol. Finally can't see grass. Took the dog for a ride for the last 45 min. It was really coming down, actually have some drifting on the country roads. Secondary roads are pretty treacherous on the traction side. First time this winter been able to enjoy the silence of a decent fresh snowfall, one of my favorite things. Looks to be done. Should be picturesque come sunrise with the temps crashing into the teens, it's stuck to everything. Yes, I'm Tony Robbins self esteeming this thing up as much as I can. Might be the only chance of the winter lol. Hope points East are cashing in on it. This upgraded my winter to a D-
ConvectiveIA
We ultimately received 2 inches from this. Light snow continued but never picked up after that initial 1.5-2in burst. And throughout, it compacted from graupel/convective flakes so 2 inches stayed 2 inches.
chuckster2012
Just stopped here in Jennings County, IN. Got a good solid inch. Makes 5" for season...
osubrett2
.4" so far IMBY. Took longer than expected to fluff up and accumulate, but as expected it's only on cars and grass. Streets and sidewalks just wet. Probably be able to squeeze out another tenth or 2. This will bring the seasonal total IMBY to just under 7.0". IWXwx
Ended up with 3.1" on 0.23" liquid. Backyard season total now at 12.6", while the airport has 14.9". Pretty sad to think that those totals are some of the best south of I 80.
