RichmondTarHeel
Well I may have spoke too soon. Had about 3-4 good gusts but nothing much now. Think I'm too far South to get the good gusts. Sounds like Northern fairfax is the place to be.
87storms
Got gusty for a few mins but seems to have leveled off a bit.

We do not forget them, but many times we have no idea what is happening there. Sterling can have those counties but that is not my call. Well sorry for the disrespect, but yeah, I think they should. This might sound stupid, but I often find it not productive when I in Essex MD am under a completely different advisory or warning than 15 miles across the bay in Kent County. tstate21
Up here NW of Baltimore, winds started about 15 minutes ago and came in with a force. Most intense gusts were within 5 minutes of onset, but have settled down a bit since then. Looks like some stations close by reported between 50-60 MPH gusts. Jebman
Nice and calm here. I'll survive. I'm disappointed, but hey I got steady power.

Kind off odd that a warning for Philadelphia county and Delaware county were issued and chester county were issued but not lancaster county. Does it have to do with the fact that lancaster county is out of the area that mt holly covers.

It should be collaborated between offices but that is not always the case. NWS forecast area boundaries back in the day were mainly based on radar coverage. That is not much of a factor now. In my opinion my office should have all of NJ instead of splitting the far north with Upton. Perhaps one day this will change.
NorthArlington101
It was windy... Not sure I can verify the values RadarScope was putting out but saw three transformers blow off in the distance.
MacintoshPro
Although radar looked impressive, wind wasn't that strong. 45 mph at the peak. Probably missed the worst of. Probably badder a WNW where the green flashes were coming from.

Bodhi Cove
Sparrows Point in the wind now. Not as bad as I thought it would be. And we're usually pounded by winds. Meh.

Jebman
Very windy, sounds like at least 45 mph. My neighbor's tree really swayed BIG TIME! WHOA!
MN Transplant
Roaring out there. I recorded 45mph which means we probably were in the low 50s. My 2nd highest gust after a synoptic system in 2014. Too many trees to get that high during summer storms, but they've mostly missed me anyway (had the anemometer at ground level during the derecho).
