Damage In Tolland
Euro is OTS . No rain on there Tablet upside down maybe?
snowgeek
Overall upper air pattern on the Euro looks promising. Hopefully the Tippy 582dm 500 mb isoline heads down to Cuba, flow slows a bit, subtropical jet gets kinky, PNA gets jacked up a bit and bam! A little plastic surgery cosmetic work and the Euro would snow. Interested to see ensembles.

snowgeek
A few wetter ones, but most EPS members look pretty dry for the next 9 days or so. Serviceable upper air pattern but nothing to get excited about yet. I'll expectations low and I won't be as disappointed....as advised.

Baroclinic Zone
I see C-2", with some localized higher amounts. Not what I call a real clipper system.
CoastalWx
Should have some good ratios too which isn't the ordinary 10:

USCAPEWEATHERAF
Models are getting better with the clipper, if we can get a stronger energetic shortwave than maybe we can get cyclogenesis to occur sooner and stronger surface low on the benchmark. C-2" The Shortwave going S of us is just one piece. Is it amplifying or deamplifying? How about the MLs? Are those S of us too or are they N of the area. Airmass will be relatively dry so we may waste a bunch of modeled QPF saturating the column. The NAM looks like it's on the robust end of guidance right now.
