OKX was hinting it may redevelop near 40/70 instead of further northeast.

For now, model consensus is to the east of Cape Cod. However,
given strength and amount of digging with trough, would not be
surprised if the coastal low ended up forming south of Long
Island instead. For now, confidence in this is not high enough
to modify the forecast in this direction.

0z GGEM tonight gives 1 to 2 inches for Tuesday's clipper, but we know GGEM tends to be overly bullish on snow. GFS gives just a light coating Tuesday. We'll need it to come in early with the borderline temps. We'll see. At least we have 2 chances at light accumulations with the clippers. Not much time left for Monday's morning's clipper to trend far enough north for us.

Nams further south, extreme southern jersey sees snow..

NAM and RGEM agree...deadly combo this year, 2nd clipper looks like our only shot with these 2 waves256bb42.jpg

weaker first wave potentially equals a stronger second wave further south because of more room in the atmosphere to develop...... time will tell and then we'll know.........

Despite what looked like a stronger 2nd wave, Nam still to weak and dry, dusting to 1" for most both waves....dry air won't help either, could see virga for a while too. See if we can get a last min trend, but we're gonna a need a big Nam shift...

The NAM is still fairly far north with the 2nd wave while most other models are south.  It looks like the RGEM may have won for Monday morning, it never really shifted north when all others did and now the the 12z NAM moved south

Yea greed, also tail end of RGEM has the second clipper pretty far south, albeit pretty weak also

Not so encouraging for these two little events unless you believe the cmc and ukie they look okay for the second clipper. I'm not really hyped about it because most times these clippers get eaten alive by the mountains to our west but hopefully we get some redevelopment otherwise we're screwed.

Also the dew points like ulster said are going to be low so hopefully we don't get a virga fest!
