Daniel Boone
Unfortunately, nam was right this time. you're right carver, kudo's to kmrx on this oneShort period very lt snow this morning, then off and on mainly lt mix early afternoon except all snow above 1700 feet. Some sun came thru nis/scu deck at times helping boost high temp of 39 early afternoon. Heavy bands came thru late afternoon although, all but 2 missed my home. half inch from those. Disappointing occurrence overall.
John1122
It reminded me of a late March event instead of a late January event. Normally, in late January ground temps are so cold that this snow falls and sticks. But after our torch month it just wasn't going to happen until the sun stated down and the CAA started in earnest. Just about every factor worked against us, timing, boundary layer and soil.
BlunderStorm
I'm not speaking conclusively I think I can salvage an extra inch out of this event. One inch so far.
PowellVolz
I've got a good 1/2-3/4" now. Honestly I didn't think I'd see that much. Convection bands can lay down some snow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
