About 1" of slushy something on the ground. Standing water on top of that. That isn't rain, it is Eyewall's tears of frustration.

weathafella
Was pelting when I took out the trash last night. I had a small sleet accumulation. Thankfully all gone now-rain.
dendrite
Looks like wire to wire sleet here based on cam. Snow is a lot moe reflective in the infrared light. Heavy sleet right now. Sounds like gunshots against the windows.

moneypitmike
1 minute ago, White Rain said: Strange how this one worked out - thought you would have made out decently. Mostly sleet there? I imagine that's the case given the reports here. But looking at the deck, I don't think there's much more than an inch so I'm wondering if we had some zr as well. I imagine that the winds will limit the amount of ice accretion. I imagine branches bending in the wind will tend to crack ice that might otherwise encase it. eyewall
F*ck this storm and F*ck this winter. Freezing rain for the loss here in Winooski. This month will go down as a complete ratter. I guess the good news is morale couldn't sink any lower.
Damage In Tolland
That was a beast to shovel..Tree limbs embedded in the sleet pack. 2.3" total. The grass was closer to 3" Wondering if there might either be a flip to snow later as slot fills in or maybe a sleety mix?
CT Valley Snowman
Temps creeping up east of the river. Looks like ZR is not happening for Kev. MarkO
Went over to sleet around 12:30 AM, sounded like sleet all night until about 6AM. Just flipped to plain rain in past 1/2 hour 33.8/

metagraphica
Roaring wind all night with some huge house shaking gusts. Lost power 3 separate times over night. First 2 times were only for a couple of minutes and the last time was about an hour. Tons of rain, although I haven't checked exactly how much yet. Currently 39.5 here.
