I imagine that the winds will limit the amount of ice accretion. I imagine branches bending in the wind will tend to crack ice that might otherwise encase it. First 2 times were only for a couple of minutes and the last time was about an hour. Tons of rain, although I haven't checked exactly how much yet. Currently 39.5 here.
