STILL N OF PIKE
E Slope of Berks looks like a interesting spot for this storm as well as elevations W of Albany and maybe down to Hunter Mtn, esp if this high is modeled a tad stronger as we approach last 60 hrs. Also as of now ( to a lesser degree) the N ORH hills.

#NoPoles
Well, I've got no horse in this race. I will learn to appreciate the rain...drought is bad. In July or August unexploded ordinance on the military range on Cape Cod, exploded and causEd a wild fire...smoke and ash raining down on RT 6...fun times
dryslot
Looks like the block is asserting itself a little more on the 0z GFS, S/W down south is further south and east so far this run

The warm layer at 66h over ORH county around 775-800mb with significant cold wedge at 900 washes out to basically an isothermal 0c profile at 69-72 before going to rain...so goes almost like sleet to snow and then to rain. Don't normally see that progression. Probably not right. But it's showing some pretty decent ability to cool aloft.

snowgeek
Meh. Screaming east wind wins out. Might have to head west a bit if the east facing slopes get some upslope fun.
