TUESDAY MORNING...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
TUESDAY MORNING.

* LOCATIONS...THE SOUTHERN POCONOS REGION OF NORTHEAST
  PENNSYLVANIA AND SUSSEX COUNTY NEW JERSEY.

* HAZARD TYPES...SNOW AND SLEET.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...3 TO 5 INCHES.

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...AROUND A TENTH OF AN INCH.

* TIMING...RAIN WILL OCCUR TONIGHT AND EARLY MONDAY. TEMPERATURES
  WILL THEN LOWER MONDAY WITH THE BEST OPPORTUNITY FOR SIGNIFICANT
  WINTER WEATHER WILL BE DURING THE AFTERNOON MONDAY INTO MONDAY
  NIGHT.

* IMPACTS...SNOW AND ICE ACCUMULATIONS WILL CREATE TREACHEROUS
  DRIVING CONDITIONS. STRONG WIND GUSTS COULD BRING DOWN TREE
  LIMBS AND COULD PRODUCE SCATTERED POWER OUTAGES.

* WINDS...NORTHEAST 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 45 MPH.

* VISIBILITIES...LOWERING TO AROUND 1/2 MILE OR LESS IN SNOW.

Speed restrictions sure. Closed? probably not. That's pretty extreme- especially for the GW. Commuting is still going to be miserable no matter what. The LIRR out here has issues with 72 degrees and sunny let alone whatever tomorrow brings.

...TORNADO EMERGENCY FOR SOUTHERN WILCOX COUNTY...

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 PM EST FOR WILCOX
AND EASTERN CRISP COUNTIES...
    
At 407 PM EST, a confirmed large and destructive tornado was located
over Double Run, or 12 miles northeast of Ashburn, moving northeast
at 60 mph.

TORNADO EMERGENCY for southern Wilcox County. This is a PARTICULARLY
DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW!

HAZARD...Deadly tornado.

SOURCE...Public confirmed tornado.

IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may
         be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes
         will be destroyed. Considerable damage to homes,
         businesses, and vehicles is likely and complete destruction
         is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Abbeville, Rochelle, Arabi, Pineview, Pitts, East Crisp, Cedar Creek,
Antioch Church, Pope City, Seville, Hatley, Browning, Pleasant View,
Double Run and Owensboro.
