Zelocita Weather
12z NAM, maybe 0.1" up to NYC, but more significant precip just to our south with the passage of a weak wave.

SnowGoose69
The ukmet looked awful even for DCA and BWI this morning. Confluence seemed to come in stronger on 12Z data. I would still watch this one though
Zelocita Weather
GEM/NAM depiction does look interesting, GFS not so much. We will see, but with a strong SE ridge/warmth/moisture present, and an arctic high there as well, potential exists, especially if we are on the northern side of the boundary. Animal
Just took a peek at the 18z nam. this threat is dead on arrival. we can toss these scrap storms to the snow birds down south. go big or don't weenie out.

With a cold high in place, a very weak overrunning event will mostly be virga. There's still time for a change though if the wave comes in stronger. Animal
Food for thought. this thread may be text book example of how to track a terrible event that never was anything except a wet weenie's bed time dream.
JerseyWx
I wish I had a picture of this. On route 23 there were trucks spraying that liquid brine solution lane by lane. There was a big sign on the back of the truck that read something like, "Anti-Icing solution. Keep Back."
