I was kind of being sarcastic with his everything but the kitchen sink post lol

Sarcasm?

You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want to be right -- you always want to be right. You use words like "dry air," "clueless," "pathetic." You use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending yourself. You're becoming a punch line.

I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very observations that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide them. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a meteorology degree and stand the post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think.

(well said NW Balt...  that's some classic sarcasm there)

Did you or did you not order that WWA?  I want the truth!

So much saltiness around here lately. Btw, these "cautious" advisories are issued every year. This is nothing new.

School districts do the same in cycles. They will get complacent or simply mis judge an event and I have to drive threw Armageddon to get to work then the next three times we get sprinkles I get a two hour delay.

Lol. If I ever got into a bar fight, I'd want you on my team. We all know that you would do well.

Ha! I've been known to slap a punk or two in my hay day. But yes, I'd hold my own just fine ;)

Looks like this evening is our best chance of precip but by then probably be mostly light freezing rain / drizzle . Wave 1 was a dead stick up here which you probably new ..

Yeah, was never expecting much today. Maybe some spittle of wintry precip. Fine by me, need to head south in a few hours so don't mind the light precip.

Who cares there really isn't anything of consequence to discuss in this thread so why not have some fun.

Yep, and it seems to happen every year. I remember a day a few years back here in AA Co when school started on time, but roads were a mess w ice. Buses were late arriving, lots of accidents, etc. After that, they delayed or closed for everything.

I like this thread.

What's funny about that is I was never an OpMet. Well, except for one glorious three day period. Long story there...

31.1F / 26F in Clarksburg on a south wind of 7mph. If I look really hard, there's a slight bumpiness to the wet ground meaning there's been some sleet. It's raining and below freezing but I can't report ZR since the ground is still above freezing.

Yea a few years back Baltimore city really screwed up and was open on time when we got about 2" of snow. Problem was it was icy also and accidents all over the place. I managed to get in on time because I left super early but 2/3 of our staff was late and some very very late. We were just trying to babysit and house students all morning as they also staggered in late. It ended up being a wasted day. After that they had a delay every time there was a breeze the rest of that winter.
