Occasionally the ukmet on these weaker overrunning deals can be suppressed flat or dry. It seems to do better with more dynamic and stronger setups. The new euro has had a serious dry tendency IMO so unless it shifts notably south with either the confluence up north or the precip field I wouldn't sweat it's QPF too much.
