Ralph Wiggum
Except the blizzard. For that one it worked out. Yeah true lol. Only the big events work out for some reason.

Ralph Wiggum
0Z runs will be telling. 12Z shifted the precipitation max well to the South and 18Z seemed to hold steady or tick south yet again. Ukie and Euro are bone dry for us. North of PA/MD border may see nothing more than flurries and snow showers with very minimal accumulation if this guidance holds. If we intend to see anything on the ground Saturday, we need 0Z to begin the usual overrunning North trend.
RedSky
Where is that southeast ridge and north trend when you really need it? Last system had a NE trend and kept Langhorne to New York on track for normal January snow and left the north and westerns out in the cold. It better happen this time. RedSky
Impossible to say if the NAM is weather comedy at it's finest or actually catching a trend again.
The Iceman
12z should be interesting both nam and gfs ticked north at 6z. NAM gives the area 1-3" by tomorrow night. I originally thought this had similar start time as last weekend but guidance looks like the precip doesn't arrive until late afternoon going into the evening. I didn't see the 00z euro so no idea if that still left us bone dry. I think we ll see it continue to tick north today like last weekend, it's been the trend all winter. Plus we have the Wiggum Rule and weekend rule in effect going for it. Edit: but of course I post this, and 12z nam looks to be coming in further south than 12z. Dusting to a coating on grass and that's it.
ChescoWx
6z data run in Wxsim for NW Chesco has flurries overnight to light snow during day tomorrow brief period of moderate snow late afternoon ending tomorrow night with 1.3" of snow
RedSky
So much for a building trend at 6z Seasonable cold and cloudy weekend with some intermittent flakes Saturday maybe a dusting especially south. Another "interior" winter goes to the south crowd so far
ChescoWx
Euro at 15:1 ratio still gives a general 1" across the area!! Sorry....just trying to raise hopes a bit!!

RedSky
RGEM an inch for everybody except furthest south areas, and for days the GGEM insisted moisture didn't get north of the mason dixon line. NAM GFS now wetter for us.
Ralph Wiggum
Hrrr/cras/6z gfs/nam all ticked N and wetter. General 1-2" SE PA. These mid-winter boundary wave-runners with overunning almost always come N at the last minute....cant say it wasn't expected.
Ralph Wiggum
I'm going with a coating to an inch here in Central Bucks, mainly grass and car tops etc. Periods of light snow develping in the afternoon. Will transition to a 'wintry mix' of light snow, sleet, and rain before ending.
