Hi everyone!  I'm just leaving my house in the southern part of Wilmington,  NC to begin this chase event.  Am tentatively going to position myself in Ahoskie...and readjust from there,  as necessary.   Ultimately,  I want to be in the Virginia Beach area to hopefully document any prospective blizzard conditions.

Will provide updates throughout the night and also tomorrow.    Good luck, and I'm wishing all of us the best! :)

Hehe, welcome to Va Beach! Watch out for the drivers up here, they are terrible... Hopefully there won't be too much mixing around here.

Hindsight 20/20, I would have setup shop in Norfolk or just southwest of there.  Your in a great spot Steve.

Watching CC radarscope and seeing it slowly work it's way SE, squarely over Mountain Island Lake just to my north now.  Sleet sounds like it has let up so may have switched over to a mix with snow finally here a mile south of the MIL dam.

I'm near Cowans Ford Dam....it's a snow/sleet mix now...more snow than sleet
